Welcome back to the party place here at Party Supplies! Well, we got past the festive season without too much trouble and now we’re already into February and heading towards the spring time when the weather starts to warm up, the days get longer and the nights get filled with parties before the summer hits and daytime beach parties are all the rage once again!

So what about the humble birthday party in all that?

Well, people are having birthdays all year round, so there’s no particular season for them and that means from a merchandising point of view, most businesses don’t have the mad rush that they do in during the seasonal periods.

Which is better news for those of you arranging birthday parties, as there is not hype and price hikes just before the occasion by greedy store owners and you have plenty of time to shop around foe the best bargains. You also have plenty of choices online as well, so if you’re looking for some cool birthday party supplies, well you could have a look around here if you like (hint. hint) or go elsewhere of course! The choice is yours.

Just remember, that a good birthday party means lots of good things to eat from savory snacks, to sweet things like cup cakes and other goodies. If its an adult’s party, then you’ll need a pretty good supply of drinks and here’s where you can get a little clever if you don’t want your guests getting loaded too soon. If you have any almost empty bottles of spirits, don’t throw them away, but get a full one, divide it between the two bottles and top up with water. Ok, that sucks but it’ll stop guests getting plastered too quick! When buying beer, check the alcohol rating on the cans and but those with a lower alcohol content.

How about the great party that I’m going to tonight with a bunch of friends… well its quite nearby and in fact within walking distance, which means no driving or worrying about cabs later, just a good old fashioned stagger home when the mood takes us (or the host kicks us all out!). They are supposed to have this great tree with some stunning Christmas tree lights all set up ready for the big occasion, so that’ll be cool to see. Probably even cooler after a few drinks and some loud music to get the mood into gear!
